Quiz #8 Mother Love Bone - Chloe Dancer/Crown of thorns

Here's the dentity promo for MTV's Headbangers' Ball Europe, back in the days when Vanessa Warwick was hosting the show. I had so much fun trying to identify all the videos and then record them.

It also took me a while to identify the band providing the soundtrack. In fact, this is the subject of our eighth quiz: name the band and the song - and it's going to be even harder as you don't have much visual aid this time. They are not featured at all in these excerpts, nor do they play "metal". You can ask a friend, prowl forums or find other means of cheating, but only til June 24th...

Oh well, no one said this was going to be easy :)

UPDATED:

I don't know how he did it, but he had the right answer. Of course, it took another promo (see below) to suspect something, as Mother Love Bone was written in red... but it wasn't til I bought "Apple" that I discovered who they were.

"Before Pearl Jam, there was Mother Love Bone. Future Pearl Jam members Stone Gossard (guitar) and Jeff Ament (bass) were founders of this Seattle-based glam/punk outfit, which was fronted by flamboyant singer Andrew Wood. But despite countless accolades from the press and their peers, the group's career was cut short before it could truly blossom due to tragedy."

Mother Love Bone didn't record a video for this song, there are fan videos on GooTube, but here's Pearl Jam in a very good quality footage:
